About Liquidation.store
Liquidation.store is building the UK’s go-to platform for liquidation, clearance, and surplus stock — helping businesses recover value from excess inventory while giving customers access to unbeatable deals. We’re fast-moving, ecommerce-led, and obsessed with building trust, transparency, and community around smarter shopping.
We’re looking for a Community & Content Executive to help grow our audience, build loyalty, and bring our brand to life through content that informs, engages, and converts.
The Role
This is a hands-on role combining content creation, social media, and community management. You’ll be the voice of Liquidation.store across our channels, turning everyday stock drops into exciting stories, and creating content that makes liquidation shopping feel accessible, fun, and credible. You’ll work closely with the founders, ecommerce team, and customer support to ensure our content supports the wider growth plan: awareness → engagement → conversion → retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Publishing
- Create high-quality, on-brand content across:
- Instagram / TikTok / Facebook
- Email marketing
- Website content (blog, landing pages, guides)
- New stock drops and “deal of the day”
- Product highlights and bundles
- How liquidation works (education content)
- Trust-building content (reviews, behind the scenes, sourcing)
- Captions, posts, ads, stories
- Product descriptions (when needed)
- Customer comms (announcements, launches, promos)
- Be the voice of Liquidation.store:
- Reply to comments and DMs
- Customer Service
- Encourage UGC and customer reviews
- Help to build a community culture
- Build excitement about product drops
- Identify and engage with Micro-influencers, deal pages, relevant Facebook groups / forums
- Own the weekly social plan and content calendar
- Monitor trends and create reactive content quickly
- Work with the ecommerce team to align content with:
- Stock availability
- Campaign launches
- Seasonal demand
- Reels, TikTok trends, UGC-style videos
- Carousel explainers
- Story polls, Q&As, countdowns
- Track key metrics and report weekly:
- Engagement, reach, follower growth
- Website clicks, email sign-ups
- Content that drives conversions
What we are looking for:
- Dynamic, commercial minded creative with the ability to adapt and learn in a fast moving environment.
- Either experience of business content generation or active personal content creation within Instagram & TikTok.
- Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills.
- Strong writing skills and ability to adapt tone of voice.
- Confident creating content using a phone (shoot/edit/post).
- Comfortable on camera (or directing others).
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Commercial mindset: understands content should drive sales, not just likes.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Basic design skills (Canva).
- Video editing skills (CapCut / Premiere / Final Cut).
- Experience with ecommerce brands or marketplaces.
Why Join Liquidation.store?
- Be part of a fast-growing ecommerce brand early.
- High autonomy: your ideas will shape the brand.
- Real impact: your content will drive growth and revenue.
- Opportunity to grow into a Content Lead / Community Manager role.
