This is a good opportunity for someone with solid leasehold, homeownership or compliance experience who enjoys detailed casework, legal processes and working with residents, solicitors and internal teams to get matters completed accurately.

You’ll be joining a supportive leasehold compliance team, handling a varied caseload across lease extensions, enfranchisement, Right to Buy, Right to Acquire, landlord certificates and wider leasehold compliance activity.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing lease extensions, enfranchisement, Right to Buy and Right to Acquire applications
  • Managing landlord certificate applications in line with Building Safety Act requirements
  • Reviewing leasehold enquiries, notices, consents, sales and related legal activity
  • Liaising with homeowners, solicitors, internal teams, managing agents and other stakeholders
  • Checking Land Registry information, leases, covenants, restrictions and title documents
  • Making sure rent, service charge and covenant matters are checked before completion
  • Maintaining clear case records and keeping work moving within agreed service standards
  • Supporting legal and tribunal case preparation where required
  • Providing clear advice around leasehold legislation, regulation and compliance requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in leasehold, homeownership, legal property administration or housing compliance
  • Good knowledge of leasehold legislation, particularly around landlord and tenant matters
  • Understanding of Right to Buy, Right to Acquire, lease extensions or shared ownership
  • Awareness of the Building Safety Act 2022 and landlord certificate requirements would be very useful
  • Strong administration skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload
  • Good attention to detail, especially around legal documents, deadlines and resident records
  • Confident communication skills with residents, solicitors and internal teams
  • TPI, CIH Level 3 or equivalent experience would be helpful, but experience is just as important

Why this role is worth considering:

  • Up to £31.36 per hour umbrella
  • 3 month contract with potential to extend
  • Only 2 days per week in the office
  • No site travel
  • Varied leasehold compliance work, not just repetitive admin
  • A chance to work with a large housing organisation during a busy period of leasehold and building safety change
  • Good exposure to landlord certificates, leasehold reform, legal processes and resident facing compliance work

If this is of interest, please apply ASAP. If not, but you know someone in your network it may suit, please be kind enough to forward on.
