This role focuses on delivering technical surveying across electrical systems, lifts, and associated building services within a residential portfolio.
You’ll support the effective delivery of servicing, maintenance, and project works, ensuring contractors meet required standards and works are completed safely and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare specifications for electrical, lift, and access control works
- Review quotations, instruct works, and oversee delivery through contractors
- Carry out pre and post inspections to ensure quality and compliance
- Investigate and resolve complex maintenance issues
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure service standards are met
- Provide technical advice on electrical systems and regulatory requirements
- Support compliance with the Building Safety Act and related legislation
- Maintain accurate records and support asset compliance data
- Work closely with internal teams and residents to ensure effective delivery
- Relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical services, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and electrical standards (IEE Wiring Regulations)
- Experience with lifts, access control, CCTV, fire alarms, and wider M&E systems
- Understanding of Building Safety legislation and fire safety requirements
- Experience within housing or property maintenance environments
- Ability to manage contractors and oversee works on site
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Circa £400 per day
Hybrid working with site visits
