We’re looking for a Senior Development Manager to join our client’s team, an excellent local authority based in West London.
This role is responsible for leading major regeneration and housing development projects, ensuring high-quality design, sustainability, and community engagement.
Key Details:
- Temporary role for 9 weeks minimum
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Rates: £352.60 PAYE / Umbrella rate £450.00 per day
Your Role:
- Oversee and manage large-scale housing, community, and regeneration projects.
- Take projects from inception through to planning, financial appraisal, and pre-construction phases.
- Work with stakeholders, local communities, and elected members to ensure developments align with council priorities.
- Lead on development financial modelling, risk assessments, and compliance.
- Manage project teams, including external consultants, contractors, and legal teams.
- Ensure all developments meet planning, sustainability, and design excellence standards.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring best value and contract compliance.
- Deliver presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in development, regeneration, or property management.
- Strong knowledge of planning policy, housing development, and financial modelling.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in local government, housing associations, or real estate is desirable.
