We’re recruiting for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join a respected property risk and compliance consultancy with a growing Water Hygiene team in the North. This is a good role for someone who wants varied work, proper technical support, career progression and a business that invests in its people rather than just filling diaries with site visits.
You’ll be carrying out Legionella risk assessments across a range of client sites, producing reports, giving practical recommendations and helping clients manage water hygiene risk safely and clearly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Legionella risk assessments in line with COSHH, ACoP L8, HTM 04-01 and BS 8580-1:2019
- Producing schematic drawings and client reports
- Giving clear recommendations to reduce and manage risk
- Working across different property types, including healthcare, education, commercial and residential sites
- Attending client meetings to talk through findings
- Travelling across the North, with occasional overnight stays
Minimum needed:
- Experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments
- Approved Legionella Risk Assessment qualification, such as City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc or equivalent
- Good knowledge of ACoP L8, HTM 04-01 and relevant guidance
- Good report writing skills
- Confident client-facing manner
- Willingness to travel
