We are working with a well-established housing provider looking to bring in a Building Safety Remediation Lead to take ownership of key fire safety and remediation programmes across their portfolio. This is a hands-on role managing projects from initial assessment through to completion on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the right standard.
The role:
- Lead delivery of fire and building safety remediation works including fire stopping, compartmentation and door replacement
- Manage FRAEW and Type 4 findings through to completed works
- Oversee consultants and contractors, managing performance, costs and programme delivery
- Take ownership of budgets, forecasts and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate building safety data in line with Golden Thread requirements
- Manage project risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Work closely with residents and internal teams to keep communication clear throughout
- Manage Section 20 consultations where required
