  • Managing contractors across SOR and non SOR contracts
  • Identifying fire, construction, and design related defects and ensuring corrective actions are completed properly
  • Monitoring contractor performance, quality, compliance, and health & safety standards
  • Ensuring compliance with the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005 and current legislation
  • Liaising with residents, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring budgets, variations, programme delivery, and value for money
  • Supporting complaint resolution and maintaining high customer service standards

What they’re looking for:

  • Experience working as a Fire Surveyor, Building Surveyor, Compliance Surveyor, or similar within a maintenance or residential environment
  • Experience carrying out both pre and post inspections on fire related works
  • NEBOSH Fire qualification or equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005
  • Experience managing contractors and fire safety works programmes
  • Ability to produce detailed specifications and technical reports
  • Good understanding of current building regulations, codes of practice, health & safety legislation, standards, and materials
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, design defects, fire related defects, and how to rectify them
  • Knowledge of contract management and contractor performance monitoring
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Why apply?

  • Long term permanent opportunity with stability and investment
  • Varied role with real autonomy and ownership
