What will your responsibilities be?

  • Operating within a fast-paced, statutory Child Protection team, you will handle complex cases where children are experiencing, or are at risk of, significant harm.
  • Leading section 47 child protection investigations and conducting rigorous, risk-focused assessments.
  • Acting as the key worker for children subject to Child Protection (CP) plans, driving multi-agency core groups to ensure actions are completed.
  • Managing cases within both Public and Private Law outline (PLO) frameworks, taking timely action to protect children when risks escalate.
  • Preparing high-quality statements and assessments for care proceedings, and confidently presenting evidence in Family Court.
