How to prepare for a job interview at Liquid Personnel

Showcase Your Unique Approach

As a freelance psychologist, it's all about how you connect with clients. Be ready to discuss your therapeutic style and any unique techniques you use. Perhaps you have a special interest in a certain field, like cognitive behavioural therapy or family systems—make sure to highlight these.

Present Your Portfolio of Successes

Freelance gigs often hinge on showcasing your past successes. Bring a portfolio that includes case studies (with all client details anonymised, of course!) demonstrating your results and methodologies. This visual evidence can really make you stand out to Liquid Personnel.

Prepare for Situational Questions

Expect situational and ethical questions during your interview. They might ask how you'd handle a challenging client or a situation that tests your professional boundaries. Practise your responses to these scenarios, as they reflect both your skills and ethical stance as a psychologist.

In the freelance world, transparency about your rates is key. Be prepared to discuss how you've determined your rates based on your experience, skills, and market standards. This conversation can set the tone for a great working relationship with Liquid Personnel.
