Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Agency Social Worker to join its client's Children and Families Service. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified practitioner with proven experience in Child Protection and Court Work to join a supportive and well-established team. The role will be primarily based at Wyvern House in Winsford, with some flexibility for agreed home working days. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families through complex statutory work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of complex Children and Families cases, including Child Protection and care proceedings.
- Undertake statutory assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with legislation and local procedures.
- Prepare high-quality court reports and give evidence within the Child Protection Court arena.
- Work directly with children and families to assess risk, promote welfare, and achieve timely, positive outcomes.
- Liaise effectively with legal services, partner agencies, and internal teams to ensure robust safeguarding practice.
- Maintain accurate, timely case records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
- Participate in supervision and contribute positively to team working and service development.
