We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our Safeguarding Team in Swindon, where you’ll play a vital role in protecting vulnerable children and supporting families through high-quality, child-centred social work.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage complex caseloads across Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) pathways.
- Deliver timely assessments, care plans, and interventions that promote safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with families, health professionals, education providers, and partner agencies.
- Chair CIN and core group meetings, contribute to court proceedings, and lead multi-agency safeguarding processes.
- Mentor and supervise ASYE and student social workers, supporting reflective practice and professional growth.
What You’ll Bring:
- Social Work England registration and post-qualified experience in safeguarding.
- Confidence in managing high-risk cases and navigating statutory frameworks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a child-focused approach.
- Proficiency in case management systems (Liquidlogic, Mosaic, CareFirst, ICS) and Microsoft Office.
