Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist (Mental Health) for a 6-month contract, supporting proactive reviews and assessments across the Suffolk Mental Health Locality.
Working Across Multiple Sites:
- West: West Suffolk House, Bury St Edmunds
- Ipswich: Endeavour House, Ipswich
- North: Riverside, Lowestoft
This is a locality-wide role, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to support system-wide improvements.
What will your responsibilities be?
Youâll play a key role in strengthening front-line OT delivery across the directorate, with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and value. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, timely OT assessments and reviews
- Supporting triage & reducing duplication between health and social care
- Helping reduce OT waiting lists
- Reviewing care packages to ensure best value and appropriate equipment use
- Reviewing double-handed & waking night packages
- Supporting external providers with safe moving & handling
- Providing mutual aid across OT teams when required
