Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker for its client’s First Response (Duty) Team based in Trafford Town Hall in Stretford. This is a full-time agency role supporting a non-case holding front door function, working with families to build on strengths and access the right support at the right time.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Work within a non-case holding social work role, reaching into the community to support families in building on strengths and accessing appropriate services.
  • Offer advice and guidance, supporting the development of plans, assessing risk, and coordinating partners for effective intervention.
  • Use knowledge of risk and thresholds to engage professionals and families, building positive relationships within the community.
  • Support Front Door functions by taking referrals, sharing information, identifying risk and strengths, and facilitating appropriate work transfers.
  • Coach, support, and supervise designated staff or students, contributing to professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Post-qualified experience as a Social Worker.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
