Job Title: Social Worker – Young People Team – Knowsley Location: Knowsley (Hybrid) Pay Rate: £41,511 – £42,708 per annum (Full time and Part time) About the Role: Liquid Personnel are in partnership with Knowsley Council to recruit a Social Worker within their YPT Young People Team. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will support children in care aged 14 and above, helping them prepare for adulthood and independence. You will assess their needs, develop tailored care plans, and coordinate services to support their education, health, and emotional well-being. This includes creating Children Looked After (CLA) Plans, Education, Halth and Care (EHC) Plans, and transition plans. You will work closely with families, carers, and partner agencies to ensure consistent support and advocate for the young person\’s best interests. Your responsibilities also involve regular reviews, safeguarding, and promoting positive outcomes as they move toward leaving care.
