Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Referral & Assessment Team based in Gateshead. Opportunity to work within a Contextual Safeguarding Team, with support from Family Advocate and primarily working with teenagers at risk of harm outside the home.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Experience of undertaking Child & Family Assessments
  • Section 47 enquiries
  • Child Protection and Child in Need meetings
  • Experience of undertaking initial Court and PLO work

As a Social Worker, you are required to:

  • Hold a Social Work England registration.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK licence.
  • Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services.
