Job Title: Social Worker – London – Hospice Team
Location: London
Rate: £32.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker as we are exclusively working with two hospices based in London.

Responsibilities:

As a Social Worker, you will provide diverse work and opportunities to build connections with other support agencies. You will take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. You will manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs, provide support and cover for the Team Manager and/or Principal Manager, and actively participate in the performance management system, including supervision, PAR, team meetings, and service reviews. You will follow departmental health and safety procedures, develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations such as secondments, job rotation, and shadowing, and contribute to information management processes. Additionally, you will support social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager, acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained. Child Protection Social Workers need to understand and integrate into practice the key policies of the council in relation to social care with children and families, especially multi-disciplinary working, integration, and whole family approaches.

    To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
