Job Title: Social Worker – Learning Disabilities Team
Location: Rotherham
Pay Rate: £33 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Social Worker to join a Learning Disabilities Team based in Rotherham.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Deliver a high-quality social work service to adults who are vulnerable or in need of support
  • Collaborate with citizens, carers, and families to provide appropriate support, foster resilience and independence, and ensure they are central to decision-making and outcome planning
  • Complete assessments of adults in line with the Social Services and Wellbeing Act
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the barriers faced by children with disabilities both at home and in the community, as well as the local authority’s responsibilities toward disabled individuals and their carers
  • Understand and apply relevant legislation and guidance related to the role
  • Possess experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Initial 3 Month contract with Potential to extend
  • Supervision and Training Available

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
