About the Role:
Bolton Council are looking for a social worker for their assessment and support service.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will assess the needs and circumstances of looked after children and young people, develop, implement, and review individual care plans in accordance with legislation and departmental guidelines. You will conduct regular visits and reviews to monitor the child's progress and well-being, ensuring their safety and that they receive appropriate care and support. Building and maintaining a trusting relationship with the child, involving them in decision-making processes, and providing emotional support and guidance are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will advocate on behalf of the child, coordinate and manage services provided to them, maintain accurate case files and records, and attend court hearings to present evidence supporting the child's best interests.
