Job Title: Social Worker – Adults Community Team Location: Knowsley Working hours: Mon – Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Rate: £32 per hour The Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for dedicated Social Workers to join our Adult Community Team, offering a pay rate of £32 per hour. What will your responsibilities be? As a Social Worker in our Adult Community Team, you will conduct thorough Social Care Needs Assessments to understand and address the needs of adults in the community. You will develop and implement effective support plans, coordinate and manage services to meet individual needs, and assess and manage risks, including attending MARAMS. Your role will involve safeguarding vulnerable adults, applying Mental Capacity Act (MCA) principles to support decision-making, handling legal aspects related to the protection of adults through the Court of Protection (COP), ensuring compliance with Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS), and utilizing the Decision Support Tool (DST) for Continuing Healthcare (CHC) assessments.
