Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Looked after Children team, based in Shropshire.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage caseload with supervision from the Team Manager
- Complete assessments through direct work with children and families
- Progress care plans and pathway plans to meet children’s needs
- Carry out statutory CLA visits (home, foster care, residential)
- Chair and coordinate meetings (care planning, PEPs, reviews, risk management)
- Provide advice and support to children and families
- Undertake limited court work (care orders, SGO, placement orders)
- Participate in duty rota
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
