We are recruiting for a Deputy Team Manager (DTM) Social Work role within the Intermediate Care Southwark (ICS). ICS is an integrated team including physiotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists, nurses, pharmacists, and rehabilitation support workers who provide short-term, targeted support to avoid hospital admission and support discharges by working together to maximise a person’s independence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee safeguarding adult cases and investigations, including chairing safeguarding meetings.
- Develop and coordinate approaches to enable the delivery of services efficiently and effectively, in line with departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide formal supervision and guidance to new staff members.
