About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Social Worker to join a Children's Disability Team in Durham.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Conduct compliant assessments and section 47 enquiries to identify risk or need based on evidence.
- Record and analyse information during social care assessments following policy and best practices, leading to clear plans for children.
- Engage with children, carers, and families to understand their circumstances and form conclusions for long-term interventions.
- Assist in providing court statements and collaborate with colleagues to provide social care advice.
- Prioritise tasks based on urgency and risk.
- Contribute to team functioning, develop cross-agency working, and own your professional development while providing guidance on local services for children, young people, and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level and have at least 2 years of post-qualified experience in social work.
