Liquid Personnel is recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Support and Safeguarding Team within Windsor and Maidenhead. This is a meaningful opportunity to support children and families while contributing to a service recognised for high‑quality practice and ambitious improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with the Children Acts 1989 and 2004, the Children and Families Act 2014, and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
- Hold a caseload and take responsibility for assessment, planning, and intervention for children and young people, ensuring all work meets statutory requirements and consistently reflects high professional standards.
- Undertake direct social work responsibilities as the allocated worker, including investigating concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, assessing risk and protective factors, and determining the most appropriate course of action.
- Produce clear, analytical written reports for child protection conferences, reviews, planning meetings, and other required forums.
- Prepare high‑quality reports and case notes for court proceedings and provide evidence in court when required.
- Ensure case recording consistently reflects the voice of the child and demonstrates progress against agreed plans.
- Build effective, respectful relationships with families, support networks, and partner agencies.
- Carry out assessments, home visits, direct work, care planning, and chair meetings where appropriate.
- Participate actively in reflective and group supervision to support continuous learning and development.
Requirements:
- Completed ASYE and registered with Social Work England
- Proven experience working with children and families
- Right to work in the UK
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
