Qualified Social Worker – Powys County Council – Learning Disabilities Team

An exciting job role has recently become available at Powys County Council. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team.

Responsibilities:

• To work with people with Learning Disabilities and their carers to achieve personal outcomes and to enhance their independence and coping skills.
• To work within current legislation and Council policy, procedures and practice to assess, commission and review services, including planned interventions, for the client group.
• To work within the statutory guidance and policy/procedural framework to assist in protecting those who are at risk or vulnerable.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
