Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Learning Disabilities team, based in Manchester Council. This is a locum role offering £30 per hour.

What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will:

  • Undertake strength‑based assessments including Care Act assessments, reviews, and Mental Capacity Act assessments for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring needs, risks, and desired outcomes are clearly identified.
  • Develop and coordinate personalised care and support plans, commission services, and manage a varied caseload to promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals including health services, providers, families, and safeguarding partners.
  • Complete safeguarding enquiries and manage risks effectively while promoting the rights and safety of adults with learning disabilities.
  • Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work is in line with statutory requirements and best practice.

Qualifications & Experience: To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Post-qualified experience.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
