Liquid Personnel is looking to recruit 5 experienced Occupational Therapists to support their Adult Social Care OT service. Due to long-term sickness and vacancies, the service is experiencing increased demand, impacting waiting lists and urgent response capacity. These roles are crucial in helping stabilise the service while permanent recruitment is ongoing.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Complete Care Act assessments and strengths-based assessments.
  • Manage a mixed caseload, including urgent and complex referrals.
  • Undertake functional assessments within service users’ homes.
  • Recommend and arrange equipment, adaptations, and moving & handling solutions.
  • Support urgent referrals and contribute to reducing OT waiting lists.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and complete required reports.

Desirable:

  • Local authority experience
  • Experience with urgent response / backlog reduction work
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
  • Experience within Adults Social Care (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of: Care Act 2014, Moving & Handling, Equipment & adaptations
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively
