Liquid Personnel is recruiting Senior Occupational Therapist for its client's Integrated Health and Care Front Door service at Islington.
A fast-paced, innovative team focused on providing timely, coordinated and holistic support to residents.
This is an opportunity to put Occupational Therapy at the heart of early intervention and prevention, helping residents maintain independence, improve wellbeing and access the right support at the right time.
Working Pattern
3 days office-based / 2 days remote
What will your responsibilities be?
- Champion an Occupational Therapy perspective within the Integrated Health & Care Front Door service.
- Promote best practice, innovation and continuous professional development.
- Deliver strengths-based and person-centred assessments and interventions.
- Identify residents who could benefit from early intervention and preventative support.
- Complete OT assessments and interventions in line with the Care Act 2014.
- Apply a strengths-based, wellbeing-focused approach to assessment and decision-making.
- Manage complex cases and support decisions around case closure and transfer.
- Act as a key point of contact when negotiating and resolving complex situations.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary Health and Care teams to deliver joined-up solutions.
- Contribute to service development, strategic planning and quality assurance.
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct, performance and ethics.

Qualifications & Experience
- To be successful in this role you must have,
- Significant post-qualified Occupational Therapy experience.
- Experience working within Adult Social Care, Health & Social Care or a similar setting.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Care Act 2014.
- Experience using strengths-based and person-centred approaches.
- The ability to manage complex cases and make sound professional decisions.
- Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
- The confidence to contribute to service development and influence multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Current HCPC registration.
- A commitment to promoting independence, prevention and positive outcomes for residents.
