Are you a qualified and experienced Registered Manager looking to lead a high-performing residential service for children and young people? If so, our client, a well-established organisation in the sector, is seeking a confident and knowledgeable leader to oversee operations at their Oakwood-based home.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Register as the Manager with Ofsted, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Provide strong and effective leadership to the care team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Ensure children receive exceptional care and support, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
  • Develop and oversee care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies to promote safety and wellbeing.
  • Lead staff recruitment, training, development, and performance management, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of care through regular audits, reviews, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with external agencies, including social workers, schools, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records, adhering to safeguarding protocols and data protection regulations.
  • Promote a nurturing and positive environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.
