Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its clients Learning Disabilities & Autism Team at Darlington.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Specialist LD&A assessments — Complete Care Act–compliant assessments tailored to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, focusing on strengths, communication needs, risks, and eligibility for support.
  • Person‑centred planning — Develop and review personalised support plans that promote independence, choice, community inclusion, and positive risk‑taking, working closely with families and advocates.
  • Safeguarding & complex casework — Lead safeguarding enquiries, manage complex behaviours or vulnerabilities, and coordinate multi‑agency responses with health, education, and specialist LD services.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • To be successful in this role you must have:
  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
