Liquid Personnel is looking to appoint an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its client Adult Community OT (ACOT) Service within the Major Adaptations Unit in The London Borough of Croydon. This is a specialist role focused on complex adaptations and equipment, managing cases from assessment through to completion of works.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Undertake home visits to assess complex needs and review recommendations from locality teams
- Provide detailed recommendations for major adaptations and specialist equipment
- Prepare sketches, specifications, and technical reports for major works
- Interpret housing plans and designs for adaptations
- Liaise with contractors, housing teams, and partner agencies to deliver adaptations
- Oversee cases through to completion of works
- Complete manual handling assessments where required
- Maintain accurate and compliant case records

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
- Strong experience in:
- Major adaptations (DFG)
- Specialist equipment provision
- Manual handling assessments
- Ability to:
- Produce technical specifications and reports
- Read and interpret architectural drawings/plans
- Manage cases from assessment through to completion
Desirable:
- Previous experience within a Local Authority OT service
- Experience working within Major Adaptations or Housing teams
