About the Role:

Liquid Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s Home Manager to work within a Therapeutic Children’s Home. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Children’s Manager wanting to utilise their experience and knowledge to shape the future of this home. You will be working for one of the largest providers of children’s services.

What will your responsibilities be?

As the Home Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for the management, co-ordination, and development of a range of quality therapeutic services for young people that live at our Home.
  • Ensure the Home exceeds all standards as stated in the Children’s Home Regulations 2015 and all other legislation relevant to the therapeutic care of our children.
  • Promote relationships as central to the working practice of our Homes. Taking an empathetic and engaging approach to working in partnership with young people, their families, professionals, and other agencies, in order to meet the needs of young people.
  • To provide effective, empathetic, and dynamic leadership

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an effective leader and able to mentor and support your team to provide the best possible care for each child.
  • You will also need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a good understanding of the SCCIF, Children’s Act 1989, and Care Standards Act 2000.
  • Have a NVQ level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People OR hold aQCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People) or be willing to work towards this
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
