Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Advanced Practitioner (Social Care) – Children with Disabilities Team for its client's Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team based in Halton.
This is a full-time agency role offering £40.00 per hour UMB and supporting children and young people with disabilities through high-quality assessment, safeguarding, and care planning.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker looking to step into a senior practice role within a dedicated Children with Disabilities service.
You will support the team with complex casework, provide practice leadership, and help drive positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
What Will Your Responsibilities Be?
- Manage a complex caseload of children and young people with disabilities.
- Complete assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory responsibilities.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to Social Workers within the team.
- Work closely with families, health professionals, education services, and partner agencies.
- Contribute to safeguarding, child protection, and permanency planning where required.
- Promote best practice and support service development initiatives.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality case recording.

Qualifications and Experience Required
- Social Work England registration.
- Qualified Social Worker status.
- Experience working within Children's Services, ideally within a Children with Disabilities Team.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience managing complex cases and supporting colleagues with practice development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
