The role of a Team Manager:
In this role you will support the daily running of the team, including duty and to provide regular structured supervision and support to social workers and social work assistants on an ongoing basis. You will report directly to the Group Manager who offers regular supervision and support. You will be passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives and supporting a changing culture providing support to Children & Families within the borough.
Essential requirements of this Social Work Team Manager role:
- Ability to provide leadership to the team
- Ability to plan and manage own and others workload
- Ability to supervise staff, to assess professional competence and enable further professional development in others
- Social Work qualified, with valid Social Work England registration
