Liquid Personnel is seeking a Senior Adult Social Worker for its client in Barnsley.
Responsibilities:
- Lead safeguarding enquiries under relevant legislation, assessing risk, gathering information, and coordinating multi-agency responses to protect children or vulnerable adults.
- Manage a complex caseload, completing timely assessments, safety plans, and statutory visits while ensuring all decisions are evidence-based and defensible.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies (health, police, education, voluntary sector) to develop and review protection plans, ensuring risks are reduced and outcomes improve.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
