About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting highly skilled Approved Mental Health Professionals for the Centralised Day Time AMHP service on a temporary basis.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will be expected to confidently undertake all statutory responsibilities as an AMHP as laid down under the Mental Health Act (MHA) in the Centralised Day Time AMHP service. You will assess individuals who may need to be detained under the MHA, ensuring their rights are protected, and provide high-quality, integrated services. Your duties include conducting assessments, reviews, and planned interventions, participating in the AMHP duty rota, maintaining accurate records, providing expert advice, and liaising with external agencies to coordinate responses to mental health crises, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in need of support.

Essential requirements:
- Social Work England registration.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fully qualified as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
- Preferably with current or recent experience of working as an AMHP.
