Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Adult Social Worker to join the Discharge to Assess Team within our client's organization. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home two days per week, with three days of office attendance required. The position is based within the inner-city East Team, focusing on Discharge to Assess services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Completing Care Act assessments and reviews
- Conducting Mental Capacity and Best Interest Assessments
- Applying a strength-based approach to community engagement
The role plays a vital part in supporting and safeguarding the citizens of Bristol.
Essential requirements:
- A recognised professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work)
- Must be registered with Social Work England, the regulatory body for social workers in England
- Significant experience in delivering social work services to vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities and complex needs
- Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A full UK driving license and access to a car are often required for client visits
- The legal right to work in the UK
