Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for its client’s Children’s Disability & SEND Services team in Blackburn with Darwen.
Join a brand-new Occupational Therapy team in Blackburn with Darwen, created in partnership with the Children’s Disability Service and SEND Services. This is a unique opportunity to help shape an innovative service that supports children and young people across the borough.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Locum Occupational Therapist, you’ll work closely with an OT and OT Assistant, contributing to theDisabled Facilities Grant operational group. Your work will include:
- Home and school equipment assessments
- Property adaptations
- Holistic, child-centred interventions
This role ishybrid, but involveshome visits, so flexibility and travel are essential.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Paediatric experience preferred (assessments, equipment reviews)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to 3 days per week (flexible on which days)
- Passion for supporting children and continuous learning
