Type: Full-time

Team structure: reports to UK&I CMO, 1 direct report

Your role: The role will lead the development of our eCommerce business and digital growth across UK and Ireland. The role will oversee our eCommerce strategy across multiple channels for all brands: Pukka, Lipton, PG Tips, with particular focus on digital acceleration and the launch and growth of a new DTC and integrated social commerce activation.

The successful candidate will have a start up/entrepreneurial mindset, a good high level understanding of the overall digital and eCommerce landscape, combined with hands on experience in D2C, CRM and TikTok shop. It is a great opportunity to bring innovative new projects to life with direct interaction with LIPTON’s UK and global leadership.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead our multichannel eCommerce strategy in the UK, building annual plans with relevant stakeholders, including marketing, sales, Europe Pure Play team, and more. Report on performance, opportunities and build annual plans.
  • Oversee the growth and execution of our digital strategy across omnichannel grocery retailers in the UK, working with the shopper marketing team and KAMs to continuously improve on key metrics.
  • Manage social and retail media investment and work with internal teams and agency partners to ensure digital investment is effective and measurable across performance channels.
  • Own the launch and optimization of a new DTC site, CRM and new operating model with an insurgent-first mindset, including merchandising, promotion, subscription, continuously feeding learnings back to the organisation.
  • Drive the digital revolution of our brands via social platforms and GenAI, creating engaged communities and driving sales on and offline. Act as an agent of change.

What we are looking for:

  • Hands on DTC and CRM experience, preferably in categories such as cosmetics, supplements or nutrition. Experience working with WordPress a plus.
  • You’ll have worked in a digital start up or a fast-paced, fast-growing business with DTC and are looking for new experience in a global business where you can bring your DTC expertise to a global business and have impact for the UK business and beyond.
  • You’ll be highly skilled at using data & insights to inform your decision with a continuous improvement mindset. You know how to look at sales, promotions, and performance marketing metrics to drive further growth and adapt your approach not just build reports.
  • You’re financially fluent, you can read key sales and financial metrics and can recommend corrective action.
  • You’ll have managed someone before or be able to demonstrate how you would coach and upskill a high performing digital manager.

Who you are:

  • You have a start up mindset, you like to try new approaches, give things a go, collaborate and challenge the status quo with a no ego, high impact approach.
  • You are a self-starter who knows what it takes to make things happen and you thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • You can think strategically and engage with multiple stakeholders across functions, levels, and geographies.
  • You’ll thrive in being part of a passionate, ambitious team and not be afraid to get stuck in and get things done.
