The role bridges R&I, Quality, Logistics, and Customer Care, driving compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement while enabling smooth market introductions and lifecycle management of innovations. The role also acts as deputy for the Site Quality Manager, ensuring continuity of quality leadership, compliance, and decision-making in their absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the quality representative in all European R&I innovation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory, technical, and internal quality requirements.
- Provide regulatory and technical input during project scoping, formulation, packaging, and supply chain readiness.
- Partner with R&I, Supply Chain, and Customer Care to ensure innovation launches are compliant, consumer-safe, and market-ready.
- Support development of new quality procedures, workflows, and templates to embed quality in innovation ways of working.
- Manage UKI & Nordic Consumer Care KPI scorecard reporting and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Maintain oversight of blocked stock, warehouse defect files, and destruction processes, ensuring compliance with global quality standards.
- Support distributor approvals and ensure technical documentation is in place for market compliance.
- Create and maintain Consumer Related Quality Standards (CRQS) entries, ensuring accurate traceability of quality events.
- Manage Quality KPI dashboards focused on Consumer Complaints, Withdrawals, and Market Incidents, ensuring root cause closure and preventive actions.
- Lead continuous enhancement of LMS annually, focusing on tangible cost recovery and efficiency.
- Oversee and lead Product Withdrawal / Recall processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, rapid traceability, and stakeholder alignment.
- Maintain complaint documentation, traceability records, and follow-up logs to ensure audit readiness.
- Conduct Local Auditing for new partners – Warehouses, 3PMs, 3PLs, Suppliers, etc.
- Act as the Local Link with Certification Team and Program Management for Site Quality.
- Support for Local Supplier Onboarding.
- Ensure Consumer Related Quality Standards (CRQS) entries remain accurate and relevant to site quality compliance.
- Champion for Document Control Compliance — ensure all SOPs, work instructions, and forms are updated, approved, and aligned with site operations.
- Support harmonization of audit templates across sites IFOSto align with Group standards.
- Conduct regular complaint performance reviews with business teams, highlighting top issues and recovery actions.
- Lead digital reporting initiatives for complaint and withdrawal tracking (e.g., Power BI dashboards).
- Build consumer complaint analytics that translate data into actionable insights for product improvement.
- Lead development and roll-out of tools such as the Logistics Claims App and Quality Notification Form.
- Provide structured training to teams on quality procedures, site compliance, and innovation requirements.
- Act as SME for Quality Onboarding and Training across the site.
- Support in deploying Careline templates and feedback analysis, ensuring site issues are promptly translated into corrective actions.
- Act as quality liaison in logistics meetings, innovation forums, and cross-market working groups.
- Partner with Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs to resolve quality issues and anticipate risks.
- Ensure that FPOC (First Point of Contact) documentation for warehouses and logistic partners remains accurate and compliant.
- Deputise for the Site Quality Manager during periods of absence, maintaining audit readiness, and quality governance standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs within FMCG, Food & Beverage, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, product compliance, and technical standards for factory operations and innovation launches.
- Skilled in KPI management, data analysis, and digital quality improvement tools.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills with strong influence at the factory leadership level.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across factory and functional.
- Demonstrated leadership as a Quality Compliance Facilitator, bringing measurable value to site performance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
