About The Role
As an Endpoint and Infrastructure Engineer within the C&W IT team, you will play a key role in supporting, developing and improving our endpoint and infrastructure environment across the practice.
Based in our Birmingham Studio, this is an opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative and forward-thinking team, taking ownership of core technology services that help our people work securely, efficiently and effectively.
This varied role combines hands-on technical support, modern device management, infrastructure operations and continuous improvement.
You will help maintain secure and reliable systems, support Microsoft-based technologies, manage device and application lifecycles, and contribute to projects that strengthen the resilience and performance of our IT services.
- The Key Role Responsibilities Are
- Taking ownership of the endpoint and infrastructure estate, including laptops, workstations, servers, mobile devices and core supporting services.
- Maintaining secure, compliant and reliable systems through device management, patching, vulnerability remediation and security baselines.
- Developing and supporting modern device management using Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Autopilot and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Packaging, deploying and maintaining business-critical applications, supporting dependable software updates and lifecycle management.
- Contributing to infrastructure operations, service resilience and continuous improvement across a modern Microsoft-based environment.

- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
- Experience managing or supporting endpoint devices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A genuine interest in technology, security and continuous improvement.
- Most importantly, you’ll enjoy taking responsibility for your work and be keen to learn, develop and grow within the role.
Experience of the following would be desirable, but not essential

- Power Shell scripting or automation.
- Supporting server infrastructure.
