Marketing Operations Executive - Events £30,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits London Leading media events business seeks a highly ambitious and talented marketing operation executive to join their fast-growing team. Our client delivers world-leading series of events focused on finance and trade globally. Your Role: This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your B2B direct marketing skills, using a mix of marketing methods, such as email, social media, partnerships, digital marketing, SEO, advertising and contra deals. Working in a fast-paced, fun environment, the successful candidate will be creative, have a degree and or background in b2b marketing with a realo drive to further develop their marketing skills. Full training will be provided with much opportunity for growth and development in this dynamic company. There will also be the opportunity to help support with the logistical side of their global events, if you are someone looking for a fun, varied, hands on marketing role with additional event logistics responsibilities, this is a genuinely great opportunity! Core responsibilities: * General support in managing the day-to-day activities within the marketing, editorial/ publishing, and sales team. Products include thought leadership and written content, podcasts, videos, magazines, webinars, artwork, as well as content production across multiple channels (website, social media, email, in-app, print). * Maintain and organise templates for social media assets and implement ongoing asset improvements, working with designers. * Manage their social media strategy: not only supporting CMS managers and designers, but also innovating to push our strategy forward following trends. * Execute marketing campaigns to promote reports, webinars, events, and partnerships across digital and offline channels. * Oversee branding and messaging consistency across marketing materials, events, and communications, supported by central teams. * Compile and send weekly newsletters on LinkedIn and Hubspot, and manage paid LinkedIn campaigns. Profile: * Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus. * Previous experience in marketing, communications and events management, ideally within financial services, B2B, or professional services. * Strong understanding of running and maintaining digital marketing and social media strategy, and content development. * Comfortable using Canva and other basic design tools, with the ability to create simple visuals, brief designers clearly, review creative work, and stay up to date with trends in video, podcasts, and digital content to guide editors. * Ability to work on multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient in HubSpot, Canva, Microsoft Office (including Excel), and familiar with WordPress, SEO, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
