Leading B2B events business seeks a highly accomplished Portfolio Manager to join their Defence division. This role is an ideal position for a senior conference producer with 4 years + experience looking to transition into more of a strategic role with high level responsibility for owning and growing a portfolio of events.
Responsibilities:
- Be the subject matter expert of one or more portfolios
- Influence the direction and shape of a portfolio including both events and potential additional revenue streams
- Scale relevant portfolio(s) by 25% revenue year on year
- With the support of the Head of Production, take ownership in determining the commercial viability of conferences and strategies to scale existing products and launch new events within the portfolio(s)
- You will have responsibility for driving the portfolio’s growth and future path
- To produce two day and three day large scale events while strategising on new commercially-viable avenues for relevant portfolio growth
Qualifications:
- 4 years + in conference production
- Proven track record in conference validation
- Excellent academic background
- An interest in the defence sector would be highly advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong content skills
