Leading international events business seeks a highly polished events coordinator to join their team. Our client is searching for a super talented Event Coordinator to help support across their portfolio of b2b conferences and bespoke events. This role is ideally suited for a junior ops exec with around 1 year's relevant experience. Full training will be provided via the Events Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end relationship management with venue and any event suppliers to ensure that all requirements and logistics are in place – including but not limited to venue liaison, catering and AV, delegate and attendee management, slides and event collateral – working alongside the marketing team and content producers.
- Work with the Conference Production Team to deliver events within agreed budget having complete oversight and management of the financials. This entails accurate and detailed record keeping ensuring all conferences and awards remain within budget, creation and management of purchase orders and processing of payments.
- Provide excellent administrative and organisational support for the Conference and Awards Director (CAD) with particular responsibility for database management, website updates, briefing documents for speakers and internal staff.
- Researching of venues as required with guidance from CAD, reporting back on pricing, availability and suitability.
Profile of Candidate Required:
- Ideally degree educated
- Highly articulate with excellent communication skills
- Approx 12 months relevant ops experience - conferences, awards or exhibitions
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to work well to strict deadlines
- An interest in b2b events
- Ability to work well under pressure
