About the role:

As part of a growing department that drives and services all brand visual output we are looking for a Junior Art Director to join the Creative Shoot team. The role will be integral in helping to drive art direction to the next level, responsible for developing and delivering the brands E-com imagery – spanning a wide variety of product categories and communications needs.

You\’ll be directly supporting the creative leads across Next London\’s Wholly owned brands; Lipsy, Love & Roses and Friends like These. You will be developing and delivering sound and compelling studio imagery, ensuring the vision of each brand is effectively communicated with innovative and engaging model imagery that meets deadlines across all platforms.

Responsibilities..

In your day-to-day duties, you’ll be on set helping create live mood boards on ecom across all brands and on still life ecom shoots. As such the role will be collaborating and working closely with the in-house shoot team, both in the brand\’s own photo studio as well as occasionally on location opportunities.

  • Execute original and best in class creative direction across stills and video content for all platforms and end uses
  • Collaborating with the rest of the shoot team across Pre Production, Production and Post Production – covering all areas of creative from concepts and set design to on set directing
  • Pre-production: conception and development of creative decks, briefing of teams
  • Production: realising and effectively communicating the vision by working with inhouse and external teams to action brief and direction
  • Post-production: aid in edit and retouching process to help with the final delivery of imagery and video
  • Ensure output is to the highest quality, push for newness and fresh ideas
  • Critically evaluate the creative process and work to improve to drive productivity, cost savings and optimisation at all times
  • Effectively communicating concepts and storyboards through presentations and briefings
  • Forge and maintain relationships with photographers, videographers and other vendors
  • Efficiently manage set design and props alongside creative leads
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, styling, social media, video, design, and technology where relevant to Lipsy Group Companies
  • Collaborate with various departments and functions including members of the shoot team, as well as business partners in marketing, design, PR and buying
  • Partner with Project managers and Producers to meet fast paced timelines
  • Ensures adherence to brand guidelines and best practices in own work
  • Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail
  • Working closely with inhouse team to channel and elevate styling across all shoots.
