THE ROLE

We have a role for an experienced Tax Solicitor 3+ PQE. You will be working as a key member of a highly regarded Corporate and Real Estate Tax Team, collaborating closely with colleagues in the Private Wealth Trusts, Estates, and Tax team. The team provides tax support for corporate transactions, as well as VAT, Stamp Duty, and SDLT planning.

You will be working alongside tax lawyers and chartered tax advisers, providing practical, pragmatic advice to a varied client base ranging from owner-managed businesses, private equity, and unit trusts to properties and funds.

You will be advising on exit strategies, offshore structuring, employment tax, remuneration planning, and redundancy.

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a solid background advising on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and restructuring, as well as SDLT, VAT, and employment taxes.

The firm offers a supportive work environment with hybrid/flexible work arrangements and a choice of locations to work from in the UK.
