ABOUT YOU
A lawyer with 2-5PQE, you will have experience of leasehold enfranchisement and other related matters gained in a firm with a quality Real Estate / leasehold enfranchisement team.
In this role, you\\\’ll advise on a broad spectrum of leasehold enfranchisement matters, including statutory claims under the Leasehold Reform Acts of 1967 and 1, right to manage applications under the 2002 Act, and right of first refusal under the 1987 Act.
You\\\’ll also handle voluntary lease extensions, deeds of variation, and property management issues related to freehold acquisitions and right to manage claims.
Your work will involve advising clients on ground rent investments and the acquisition and disposal of property portfolios, acting for both buyers and sellers.
You\\\’ll provide guidance on leasehold enfranchisement risks and rights during property transactions and contribute to larger real estate projects where enfranchisement issues arise.
You\\\’ll collaborate closely with the residential property team on leasehold-related sales and purchases, and support other departments—including Real Estate, Real Estate Disputes, Family, and Private Client—on matters involving leasehold enfranchisement. Additionally, you\\\’ll be involved in tribunal and court proceedings related to these areas.
You\\\’ll also attend ALEP conferences and networking events, helping to build both your personal reputation and the firm\\\’s profile within the leasehold enfranchisement sector.
