A thriving UK multi office law firm is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Knowledge Director for a newly created position. This role offers the opportunity to shape and drive the knowledge management strategy across all business areas, liaising with senior leadership, IT, Risk, and specialist PSLs.

This is a role for someone who thrives on innovation, collaboration, and delivering knowledge solutions that support strategic goals. The role will include:

  • Leading the firm's knowledge management strategy, ensuring best-in-class systems, tools, and processes.
  • Managing key external relationships and contracts with major information providers.
  • Partnering with PSLs and business unit leaders to identify knowledge and process needs, and their objectives in AI, technology, and innovation.
  • Overseeing the development and management of precedents, business processes, and knowledge resources.
  • Collaborating closely with Risk, IT, and Innovation teams.
  • Involvement in continuous improvement in how the firm captures, shares, and uses knowledge.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in knowledge management within a law firm or professional services environment, as well as experience managing relationships with external legal tech and knowledge providers. The firm will consider applications from candidates with a wide range of backgrounds including Commercial, Corporate, Litigation, or Data Protection and is able to offer hybrid working arrangements.
