OUR CLIENT: Leading International design firm

THE ROLE: We have a new in-house role for a Junior Construction/Commercial Contracts Solicitor NQ - 2 PQE. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exceptional, business facing in house legal team handling both a domestic and international workload. The work will involve:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for project teams
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts
  • Liaising with Professional Indemnity Insurers
  • Reviewing proposed appointment documents for all new projects/bids and progressing/finalising negotiations with clients
  • Supporting project teams with the review of other project legal documents including sub-consultancy appointments
  • Handling other work including risk/compliance and general commercial contracts

THE CANDIDATE: To be considered for this opportunity, you will be a qualified solicitor with non-contentious construction work and/or commercial contracts experience. You will have excellent technical and commercial skills and an interest in developing a career as an in-house lawyer working as a member of a collegiate team. Hybrid working arrangements available.
