We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Employment Law Solicitor 2+ PQE looking to broaden their skills. You will be working for a well-regarded and thriving Employment Law team. The successful candidate will be expected to handle a mixed employment law workload, mainly advising employers and senior executives as follows:
- Providing HR Support for employer clients on a day-to-day basis.
- Guiding clients through disciplinary proceedings.
- TUPE issues in transactional work (including due diligence) and on outsourcing.
- Employment termination, including compromise and other settlement agreements, as well as taxation implications and avoidance.
- Advocacy - employment tribunals and courts.
- Litigation - unfair and wrongful dismissal claims & sex, race and disability discrimination claims.
- Running training seminars and workshop programmes for employer clients.
- There will also be an opportunity to gain experience of immigration and data protection issues.
You will have 2+ PQE relevant Employment law experience gained from a leading law firm or similar, with excellent technical and commercial skills. Candidates must be available for a 12-month period of employment initially. The firm offers hybrid working arrangements and is commutable from London.
