THE ROLE

A Senior Associate – Corporate is sought to join the national, market-leading Corporate group.

You will be an ambitious, experienced and entrepreneurial Corporate Solicitor, and will enjoy undertaking a broad mix of corporate work including M&A, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital, fundraising, shareholder agreements and joint ventures, as well as general corporate advisory work.

You will be advising clients ranging from start-ups and spinouts, through to substantial companies, management teams and institutions on a broad range of corporate issues and transactions. Much of your work will have an international aspect.

ABOUT YOU

A Corporate solicitor with 4pqe+ gained in a City, national or regional firm, you will have a good background in transactional work and be able to demonstrate both working as part of a team on transactions, and/or managing transactions largely unsupervised.

You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and an interest in, helping to grow a team and a practice.

Given the responsibilities of this role, it\’s likely that you will have:

1. Strong experience in M&A work
2. Experience with investment rounds, VC funds and VC backed businesses would be beneficial
3. An interest in a wide variety of corporate work
4. Willingness to initiate and participate in marketing and business development activities
